Yanique Lockhart-Walker, Psy.D.
Director of Behavioral Health Services


Dr. Yanique Lockhart-Walker serves as the Director of Behavioral Health Services at API Associates, Inc.  Dr. Walker earned a Bachelors of Arts degree in Psychology from Bloomsburg University; a Master of Arts 
degree in Educational Psychology from Montclair State University; and
a Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology from Argosy University, Washington, DC campus.  She has worked in the mental health field
for over 15 years in various capacities including foster care case management, psychological assessment services, behavioral support
and dministration.  She has served as an expert witness to assist families with adoptions and to ensure the safety and well being of children. She
has a passion for working with children in foster care, inner city youth, 
and families; and has serviced clients in Pennsylvania, New York, and District of Columbia metro area. Dr. Walker began her career at API in
2003 as a home-based therapist and administraive assistant.  Upon completion of her doctorate degree in 2009, Dr. Walker served as the Assistant Clinical Director; and in 2014, she was promoted to Director of Behavioral Health Services.  In her current role, she oversees contracts
with Department of Behavioral Health and several Managed Care Organizations servicing over 200 District of Columbia individuals
and families. 

Pamela D. Campbell, LICSW
Clinical Director & Supervisor

Mrs. Pamela Campbell serves as the Clinical Director and Supervisor at API Associates, Inc.  She earned a Bachelor of Arts and Master of Social Work degree at Howard University.  Mrs. Campbell has over 30 years experience in the social work field as well as health care service delivery having served in various positions including Program Analyst, Supervisory Case Management Coordinator and Clinical Social Worker. She retired from the District of Columbia Department  of Health Care Finance in 2009.  Mrs. Campbell is licensed as a Clinical Social worker in the District of Columbia and Maryland. She has provided diagnostic assessments and counseling services to children, youth, and adults at API Associates, Inc. since 2005.  
In addition,  she accepted the role of providing clinical oversight and supervision to API's therapists in 2008. Mrs. Campbell also assists with  
API's Compliance and Quality Improvement programs.

Robert Zeglin, Ph.D.
Clinical Supervisor


Dr. Robert Zeglin is a Clinical Supervisor and therapist at API Associates, Inc.  He earned a Bachelors of Science in Psychology at University of Pittsburgh; a Master of Arts in Counseling at Montclair State University; and a Ph.D. in Counseling at George Washington University. Dr. Zeglin is a licensed professional counselor (LPC) in Washington, DC and a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC). Dr. Zeglin began as a therapist with API Associates, Inc. in 2012; and became a clinical supervisor in 2015 providing supervision to counselors seeking licensure. Prior to his position at API, he was the Director of a mental health day program in New Jersey. Dr. Zeglin practices 
and is certified in Rational-Emotive Behavior Therapy.  He is an advocate for social justice, addressing systemic inequality for clients and communities. His clinical and research focus is in human sexuality including sexual behavior, sexual identity, and sexual dysfunction.  Dr. Zeglin is also an Assistant Professor of Counseling at the University of Texas of the Permian Basin, having more than a dozen publications on various topics including depression, employment concerns, risky sexual behavior, and masculinity.  

Aerial Spencer
Administrative Assistant

Ms. Aerial Spencer serves as the Administrative Assistant at API Associates, Inc. since 2016. She earned a Bachelors of Science degree in Neuroscience from Temple University in 2016.  She is currently pursuing a Masters in Clinical Psychology at Argosy University and plans to continue her education by also obtaining her Psy.D. In her role at API Associates, Inc., Ms. Spencer provides services in the areas of human resources, consumer and therapist assistance, and general administration. She also serves on the Compliance and Quality Improvement Committees.

Leyla Aguilar
Billing Specialist

​​Ms. Leyla Aguilar is the Billing Specialist with API Associates, Inc. She is pursuing her Bachelors of Science Degree in Accounting at the University
of Maryland. Ms. Aguilar began with API Associates, Inc. in her senior year of high school in 2010 as an administrative assistant; and  was promoted
to Billing Specialist in 2012. In her role, she executes all billing and accounting tasks; assists with administrative duties; and serves on the
Compliance Committee.
